I am coming to visit Old Forge this weekend and I am vegan ( someone who does not eat any animal products at all). I was wondering if there is anything on your menu that is vegan or could be modified to be vegan?
We can do a great olive oil and garlic sauce for pastas with your choice of vegetables
Coming this weekend, do you take reservations for a party of 8 for this Saturday?

I brought my family to Billy’s on Friday 7/13, all 8 of us. I called ahead for reservations and the owner took all the information himself. When we arrived, the owner met us at the front door and showed us to our table. He was extremely nice and very customer-friendly! Our food was absolutely delish!! Even the teenage kids thought it was great. The owner was seen going around to tables asking if all was well, or serving wine to tables, or just visiting with customers. It was a VERY relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It was our first time eating there, and we will certainly be back! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
Sorry I’m late getting back to you but THANK YOU!!! We really try hard to achieve what you so eloquently described. Word of mouth is our best friend and the internet IS the modern ‘word of mouth’. I would love for you to introduce yourself during your next visit. Please wait until the conclusion of your meal for introductions. My family and I are coming to Old Forge the end of June. My daughter and I have celiac disease and we need to eat gluten free. Do you offer gluten-free foods that we can safely eat without fear of cross-contamination? Thanks!
Not a problem at all. We carry gluten free pasta (ziti). Also have regular menu items that can be prepared without flour. Make us aware when you make your reservation. Thanks for contacting us! Bill

We will be going into Old Forge. I cannot eat dairy products per doctor because i end up at the doctors. Do you have dishes I can eat?
Yes we have a Broiled Haddock, pasta dishes that we don’t add cheese to or can omit per request. I also have a very nice Choice center cut12 0z. strip steak however it must be pre ordered. Since the incredible rise in the price of beef I’ve had to take it off the everyday menu. I still cut these myself and freeze them just like we always have but I will need notice to thaw. Marsalas can be made without butter also. Hope to see you!
The absolute BEST restaurant in Old Forge !!! The food, service and prices can’t be beat ! Our 11 year old son insists that we visit Billy’s every time we visit Old Forge – that’s saying a lot from a picky eater 🙂

Looking forward to our annual Columbus Day Weekend visit. Over the past many years we go to Billy’s sometime over the long weekend. We always go to Billy’s with a large party and Billy’s always accommodates us. While attempting to make reservations at another (Italian) restaurant in Old Forge – when I told them the number of people the person on the phone was quite rude – I called them back an cancelled…not at Billy’s though. I believe the owner of Billy’s actually came on the phone, was kind and never made me feel that it was too many people. I know that there is limited space – but you always accommodate our large family. Thank you. He and his staff are friendly, give great service and the food is wonderful. Looking forward to our visit and your delicious food. See you next week!. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We have been coming here for the last six years, always order three or four bottles of wine, plus appitivers. , I truly look forward to this meal every year. This year, however, we watched three different tables get sat, served and checked out before we got our entree’s. When I asked to be checked out Bill, who I have always enjoyed, argued about how long we waited. I’m in the industry, so is my wife, I get that things happen, but at the short end, an hour fifteen minutes plus for our entrees is not acceptable. I will miss eating at your restaurant, Bill, because I truly love your food. We, however, will not be back.
I don’t believe I argued long. It’s a busy Saturday night. I checked the time on your ticket and it was put in at 8:15. It was 9:15 when you decided to leave. If it’s not acceptable to you so be it.

Any of the chicken dishes can be made GF other than our Chicken Parmigiana. We have Barilla GF Ziti for our gluten free needs.

We were honored with having Billy as our server and felt extremely appreciated when he followed us outside, as we were leaving, to ‘Thank us and talk with us’!
If you have never been to Billy’s Restaurant, you must Go! Check out the website menu and reservation updates before going. The online menu is larger than the menu at the table, so be sure to check it out. And make sure you make a reservation at least a day before because otherwise you will be out of luck!
One dinner suggestion, which is only on the online menu, but is a house specialty and always offered (we learned from Billy) is the Chicken and Scallop Dijonaise. It is served on linguine and is to die for!
The Seafood Bianco was great, too!
The meal servings are plentiful, the bread is absolutely delish and hot, the house dressing for the salad is amazing.
Excellent all around!

If a menu doesn’t have prices, it usually means I can’t afford it! Why no prices?Coming up in few weeks with a group and trying to pre-plan where we will eat!
Just seeing this. Prices change and especially in the last year it would have been challenging to keep it up to date. That said our basic Spaghetti is $15 and we max at $29. You can add things to dishes that would make them more expensive but our range is $15-$29 on entrees and $9-$13 on appetizers. Please call if you decide to come in

Billy’s is an Adirondack gem. The service, the food, the ‘feel’ of the place…unique and wonderful. We hail from Texas and Billy’s is the standard to which we compare the Italian restaurants in Dallas. If you enjoy Upstate New York style Italian food, Billy’s is a must. We’ve been coming to Billy’s regularly for over 10 years and never had anything less than a great meal and great experience. Their take out is wonderful if you are entertaining company at your camp!

Hands down excellent food. The service is great. We took my boyfriend there for his 60th birthday. I asked if I could bring a cake since my boyfriend loves Dutch chocolate. They not only allowed it but even held it back in kitchen & put candles on it when it was time to bring it out & sang happy birthday. Will definitely be going back.

We love Billy’s! The food is always excellent both dine in and take out! It is such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Billy greets you at the door and walks you out! I even got a hug on the way out! It’s truly like dining with family. We will always go to Billy’s when we need some great Italian food while in Old Forge!

Great Italian food! When the owner personally greets you and checks on you during the meal, you know he is going to make sure you get a fantastic dinner.
